Warehouse - Banding

About the Role

In a warehouse environment, perform a variety of activities related to the storage and shipping of raw material and/or finished product to support the overall operation and exceed customer expectations. This position works directly on the warehouse floor on or around heavy machinery and is identified as “safety sensitive.”

Responsibilities

• Perform sorting, stacking, cleaning, washing, stocking, and inspection of cartons, pallets, or parts as assigned.
• Assist in filling and packaging orders and completing paperwork according to instructions.
• Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment to move/deliver stock.
• Assist machine operators with a variety of functions as required.
• Perform general clean-up activities.
• Maintain all equipment in working condition; report issues or breakdowns to Supervisor or Lead immediately.
• Train others when required.
• Participate, support, and comply with all health, safety, quality, and Lean initiatives and requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to use and understand scanning technology.
• Safety mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience.
• Ability to use hand-held measuring tools.
• Proficiency with the computer beyond the basic level.
