Warehouse Automation Engineer

About the role

Identify, pilot, and deploy innovative warehouse automation technologies to enhance operational efficiency and support business growth. Lead automation selection during RFPs, validate technical designs, support procurement, manage smaller implementation projects, and coordinate on-site support for deployment and post-go-live activities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data to optimize warehouse automation systems
• Assist in testing and validation of automation solutions
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure successful technology integration
• Develop proof-of-concept pilots for new automation solutions
• Evaluate and advocate for automation adoption across operational areas

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
• Relevant experience in warehouse automation
• Familiarity with automation equipment, data analytics, and warehouse systems
• Experience with simulation, CAD, and visualization tools (a plus)
• Strong project management, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently amid ambiguity
• Willingness to travel as necessary
