WAREHOUSE ATTENDANT (FULL TIME)
About the role
We are hiring immediately for a full-time Warehouse Attendant position at Canteen, located at 9501 Palm River Road, Tampa, FL 33619. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 am start time, with availability to work some weekends preferred.
Responsibilities
The Warehouse Attendant will receive, store, and distribute material, tools, equipment, and products. Specific duties include:
- Reading production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
- Conveying materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas
- Placing materials/goods on racks, shelves, and bins or in refrigerated rooms according to predetermined sequence
- Filling requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributing items to production workers or assembly line
- Assembling customer orders from stock and placing orders on pallets or shelves; conveying orders to packing station or shipping department
- Marking materials with identifying information
- Opening bales, crates, and other containers
- Recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed
- Weighing or counting items for distribution within the plant to ensure conformance to company standards
- Arranging stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers
- Using a computer to enter records
- Compiling worksheets or tickets from customer specifications
- Driving a vehicle to transport stored items or to pick up items
- Completing requisition forms to order supplies from other plant departments
- Preparing parcels for mailing
- Maintaining inventory records
- Ensuring proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures; following HACCP standards
- Personal commitment to safety and adherence to company policies and procedures
Requirements
Previous forklift experience is preferred.

The ideal candidate will have a personal commitment to safety and be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Skills
The ability to read production schedules, customer orders, and other documents, as well as basic computer skills, are required.

Pay
The fixed pay rate is $18.00 per hour.
