Warehouse Attendant
About the role
Seeking a Warehouse Attendant to support materials management operations, including receiving and shipping, inventory control, and staging materials for projects. This role works hands-on with warehouse equipment (including forklifts) and supports project teams, vendors, and logistics coordination.
Responsibilities
- Material handling and shipping/receiving
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments
- Unload, count, mark, and reconcile materials
- Cookout outbound shipments and material deliveries
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- Perform daily preventative maintenance on forklift/vehicle/equipment
- Maintain required safety certifications
- Keep work areas clean, safe, and secure; properly shut down/lock equipment when not in use
- Inventory management
- Transact accurately in an inventory system
- Organize yard, shelf, and pallet inventory
- Perform cycle counts and help coordinate audits
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies, shortages, and damage
- Project and vendor support
- Stage project materials and prepare shipments (shrink wrap, banding, boxing, labeling)
- Ensure order completeness/accuracy for staged project materials
- Aid buyers and vendors with material order issues
- Provide timely updates to project stakeholders on material status
- Coordinate load-outs with contractors, freight carriers, and site personnel
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–3 years of warehouse experience (industry experience in oil & gas is a plus)
- Forklift certification/license to operate a forklift
- Valid driver’s license with a driving record acceptable to company/insurers
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and safety
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with inventory systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Familiarity with materials such as pipe, valves, and fittings
Physical and work environment
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (floor to waist)
- Must be able to hear and speak clearly
- Vision requirements include close/distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
- Work may occur in dusty environments and in varying temperatures/weather conditions

Monday–Friday, Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
