WAREHOUSE ATTENDANT

Responsibilities

• Enter and review receiving documentation.
• Perform month‑end inventories.
• Assist in counts and weight checks; maintain par stock levels.
• Stock items in designated areas and rotate stock using a first‑in, first‑out method.
• Inspect merchandise.
• Maintain a clean inventory work area.
• Verify vendor documentation against merchandise and purchase orders.
• Provide manual labor in the warehouse and receiving dock, including loading, unloading, and moving goods.
• Distribute merchandise to appropriate outlets.
• Operate forklift and warehouse truck as needed.
• Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
• Maintain strict confidentiality in all company matters.
• Lift at least 50 lb.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (required); previous shipping/receiving experience preferred.
• Ability to apply common‑sense understanding to carry out instructions.
• Basic computer skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills; fluent and literate in English.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, dolly, and carts safely and efficiently.

Pay

Starting salary: $17–$18 per hour, with placement within the salary range based on relevant knowledge, skills, and experience.
