About the role
Fence Outlet specializes in one-stop shopping for all fencing needs and accessories, maintaining a large inventory of products available daily. We serve both do-it-yourself customers and offer full-service professional installation. Established in 1994, we are growing and seeking a Warehouse Attendant to join our team. Responsibilities
- Create and/or assemble fence parts and pieces into finished fence materials.
- Pull orders in the warehouse for customers when there are no deliveries.
- Follow delivery/pick-up instructions from management or front counter personnel, including unloading equipment and checking for damage.
- Operate CNC router equipment with an owner/operator mentality.
- Load and unload materials for deliveries.
- Count inventory items, including raw and finished goods.
- Build and assemble fencing components upon request.
- Refuel gasoline or diesel equipment, check oil and water levels for equipment and forklifts.
- Clean and service small air tools, electric tools, and bulk rental items.
- Repaint equipment and re-scribe equipment numbers as needed.
- Operate walk-behind and ride-on forklifts safely to move stationary and tow-behind equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness in the warehouse and yard by sweeping floors, rearranging equipment, and using tools to clean the yard.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3+ months of experience in a similar position.
- Preferred experience with mobile equipment (e.g., forklifts, manlifts).
- CNC Router Operator experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated initiative, follow-through, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to follow directions.
