Job Description
The Macomb Group, a recognized leading distributor in the Midwest for Pipe, Valve, and Fittings, is seeking a full-time Welder/Fabricator to join their fire fab division at their facility in Harleysville, PA.
Responsibilities
- Working with a team of others, produce life safety systems
- Operate semi-automatic welding machine
- Operate crane and forklift
- Mig hand welding repair
- Quality assurance
- Organize products and materials
- Perform regular maintenance of welding station
- Work within a multitask setting while meeting deadlines
- Cut, groove, thread, and measure pipe
- Willing to train
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Welding experience, mig preferred
- Regularly lift up to 25 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs
- Ability to walk, stand, or lift the entire shift
- Knowledge of pipe and fittings is a plus
- Industry experience is encouraged, but not required
- Willing to train
Work Setting
Harleysville, Pennsylvania
Monday - Friday, 6:30am-3:30pm
