About the role

The Director of Purchasing at Winstar World Casino is seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to assist in checking and receiving orders, storing, and organizing product deliveries. The ideal candidate will also help keep assigned areas clean and organized.

Responsibilities

• Check and receive orders by truck, store, and organize product deliveries.
• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse, dock areas, and trash areas.
• Assist in keeping all storage areas clean and well organized.
• Inspect work areas for deficiencies and take appropriate and corrective action.
• Absorb any equipment as required by management.
• Report timely to work and prepared to start at the starting time.
• Maintain professional working relationships with vendors and truck drivers.
• Abide by the operating standards outlined in the policy and procedure manual.
• Ensure prompt, quality service is provided.
• Attend mandatory meetings.
• Perform all assigned side work.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must be eligible for a Gaming Badge through the Chickasaw Gaming Commission.
• Reports directly to the Director of Purchasing.
• Must be able to deliver timely, efficient, quality service.
• Ability to adapt to change quickly.
• Must be proactive and self-motivated.
• Organized and able to prioritize as needed.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Punctual and dependable.
• Must follow job duties/procedures and instructions.
• Ability to interact with co-workers to assure compliance with company service standards.
• Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
• Ability to work nontraditional hours including working nights, weekends, holidays, and holiday weekends.
