Warehouse Associate (Wholesale & Export)

Job Summary

Responsible for receiving, stocking, and shipping used office equipment. Reports to the Warehouse Manager, Wholesale. Unloads all incoming freight and documents relevant inventory and marketing information for all receipts. Stocks inventory in the appropriate bin location and assists in physical inventory. Pulls and prepares sales orders for shipment. Reliable transportation is necessary. OSHA-approved ASTM-standard protective footwear is required. This is a contract to hire job opportunity.

Key Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to drive forklifts and other equipment (experience with stand-up Reach Truck is required)
• One year of warehouse or related experience
• Ability to work in a confined space while handling heavy equipment on a consistent basis
• Basic computer knowledge

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Minimum of two years of work experience, or one year of warehouse experience with our company
• Adequate reading and math skills, with the ability to write legibly
• Physically able to perform assigned tasks, including walking, standing, bending, and reaching for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Physical Effort

• Lifting tool cases and assorted equipment weighing up to 75 pounds
• Moving objects on wheels weighing up to 700 pounds
• Frequent stooping, bending, squatting, and kneeling

Working Conditions, Mental, and Physical Demands

• Typically works in a warehouse environment with adequate lighting and ventilation
• Work assignments require the ability to interpret, comprehend, and apply complex materials, data, and instructions
• Regular exposure to conditions that could result in minor cuts and burns
• Physical effort is required for lifting tool cases and assorted equipment weighing up to 75 pounds, as well as moving objects on wheels weighing up to 700 pounds

Responsibilities

• Perform various warehousing tasks, including shipping, receiving, stocking, order pulling, and material handling
• Complete assigned tasks while handling multiple product types
• Work is labor-intensive and requires adherence to OSHA regulations
• Efficiently complete all activities assigned by the warehouse supervisor or team lead
• Maintain tidiness and cleanliness standards in the warehouse
• Work at a rapid pace to meet deadlines
• Learn various warehouse functions and processes
• Operate powered and non-powered material handling equipment (training may be required)
• Adhere to all OSHA requirements (training will be provided)
• Ensure all paperwork is completed and properly processed
• Responsible for handling equipment valued from $1 to $150,000
• Meet productivity and quality standards as outlined by the manager
• Work as part of a team with coordinated efforts to achieve department and operational goals
• Perform other duties as assigned
