Warehouse Associate Union - Night Shift (NJ)

Essential Duties

• Accurately select/pick merchandise from assigned slot and confirm the correct quantity and unit of measure.
• Load Merchandise into appropriate truck.
• Drop merchandise for "reserve" to "pick" slots.
• Prepare VIA merchandise for shipment on freight lines.
• Repack loose merchandise for shipping/delivery.
• Verify quality of product, packaging and adherence to vendor compliance policy.
• Accurately adhere to Warehouse Labor Standard, “Preferred Method Standard”.
• Identify and report slot and put-away problems.
• Shrink wrap merchandise/pallets after picking as needed.
• Perform house keeping duties as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous knowledge of SAP, one year warehouse experience and previous forklift certification preferred.
• Experience: Six months of previous warehouse experience and/or training preferred.
• Material handling equipment experience preferred.
• Reach truck experience a plus.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must pass a functional capacity test.

Pay & Schedule

• $22.69 + shift differential + increase every 6 months, up to $26.62.
• Sun-Thu 5:00p - 1:30am or finished, up to 2 hours/day OT.

• Work hours may vary or change based on customer orders, departmental or business requirements.
