Warehouse Associate (Sun-Thurs | Day Shift)
About the role
As a Warehouse Associate at Batesville, you will be responsible for the safe handling of shipments, proper care and handling of inventory, and various other warehouse duties as required in our La Mirada, CA facility.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough inspection of each unit to ensure quality.
- Unload inbound and load outbound caskets quickly, accurately, safely, and damage free.
- Keep a clean and organized work area.
- Perform various warehouse duties as requested.
- Operate various power equipment efficiently and safely.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- 1-year prior warehouse or related experience.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to drive a truck within facility confines and learn how to spot trailers.
- Dependable, honest, quick learner, good communication skills, and team player.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including any days, shift, and weekends to ensure customer demand is met.
- Ability to lift and/or move miscellaneous equipment and product weighing up to 50 lbs. frequently and over 100 lbs. occasionally.
Nice to Haves
- Forklift experience is preferred.
- Ability to perform and interpret computer and RF functions.
- Ability to learn new skills at a fast pace.

Pay
The expected pay for this role is $19.77 per hour. Actual compensation within this range may be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, skills, experience, and location.
