Warehouse Associate -Stock

Responsibilities

• Stock items on the shelves and ensure the warehouse is neat and orderly.
• Receive merchandise from vendors and other stores and place them in the correct location.
• Check off merchandise as received and correct any mistakes on the inventory count sheet.
• Aid in pulling parts during busy times.
• Clean up inside and outside the warehouse.
• Work with the stock manager to resolve issues with orders and warehouse stocking.
• Perform miscellaneous projects and other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Accurately follow written and verbal instructions.
• Maintain individual productivity and quality standards.
• Focus and remain on task in a fast-paced environment.
• Show attention to detail.
• Communicate effectively.
• Lift, push, pull and/or move objects weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, sit, climb (ladders and/ or stairs) and balance.
• Function in narrow aisles or passageways.
• Manage time effectively.
• Work well under pressure.
• Work well with other staff members and supervisors.
• Have an open availability, flexible schedule, and be able to work various shifts and overtime.
• One to two years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Familiarity with safety measures in a warehouse.
• Maintain and promote workplace safety.
• Secure and transfer cash or other assets.
