Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming and outgoing aluminum profiles.
- Store materials such as aluminum panels in designated warehouse locations to maintain organization and accessibility.
- Absorb and assist in moving aluminum panels between the production area as needed.
- Safely and efficiently load and unload trucks containing raw materials.
- Operate warehouse equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company standards.
- Follow all safety procedures, policies, and OSHA guidelines.
- Identify and report damaged materials, shortages, or discrepancies.
- Support team members and production staff to meet daily operational goals.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Physical and Safety Requirements
- Must have physical strength and stamina to lift, carry, and move heavy materials safely consistently throughout the shift.
- Capable of standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures, including hot, cold, and humid conditions.
- Ability to climb ladders or step stools and work at heights when necessary.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for handling materials and operating warehouse equipment.
- Must be able to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, steel-toe boots, and high-visibility vests.
- Must always follow all OSHA safety standards and company safety protocols.
- Ability to safely operate warehouse machinery.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in warehouse or production support preferred.
- Experience with metal cutting tools or machinery is a plus.
- Execute the essential duties of the position, with or without accommodation.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a team-player attitude.
