About the role

We are seeking dynamic, career-minded Part-Time Warehouse Associates to join our team at the Internet Operations Super Warehouse in Windsor Locks, CT.

Schedule

  • Two days per week: Friday & Saturday
  • 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM

Pay

Hourly rate: $18.00

Responsibilities

  • Receiving, processing, labeling, and storing incoming stock
  • Maintaining clear records on all inventory and stock
  • Scanning items into the warehouse management system
  • Inspecting all stock for damages and keeping records of damages
  • Organizing the warehouse space
  • Preparing and picking orders for shipment
  • Recording exact arrival and departure times for shipments
  • Operating stock management tools (e.g., powered industrial equipment and pallet jacks)
  • Counting stock and keeping inventory records
  • Performing routine cleaning duties
  • Interfacing with management to ensure key objectives are realized
  • Maintaining safety regulations and compliance with all applicable regulations
  • Securing and transferring cash or other assets

Requirements

  • Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal
  • Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements
  • Regularly lift, push, pull, and/or move objects 10-50 lbs, and occasionally up to 100 lbs
  • Frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach
  • Occasionally sit, climb (ladders and/or stairs), or balance
  • May be subject to environmental conditions (e.g., temperature changes, narrow aisles)
  • Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • Attention to detail and great communication skills
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to work well with other staff members and supervisors
  • Open availability, flexibility, and ability to work various shifts and overtime
  • 1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred
  • Familiarity with safety measures in a warehouse
  • Maintain and promote workplace safety
