Responsibilities
The Warehouse Person moves and tracks all inbound, outbound, and stored products within the warehouse. Key responsibilities include:
- Receiving all inbound merchandise and locating the proper pick location
- Restocking order pick and flow lines to prepare the warehouse for order selection
- Ensuring placement of product in sufficient quantities to accommodate routine or special demands
- Maintaining a high level of attention to detail in all areas, including balers, aisles, racking, floors, door pits, and other areas as assigned
- Transferring merchandise from the receiving area to its appropriate location
- Consolidating merchandise into picking containers as necessary
- Packing products securely in cartons and totes
- Ensuring application of shipping ID and marking cartons/totes with truck run and stop number
- Maintaining inventory integrity by adhering to system processes
- Pulling orders according to sequencing on delivery route/run list
- Recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed
- Performing end of shift tasks, such as charging power equipment and verifying completed work
- Maintaining an orderly workstation and returning supplies and merchandise to assigned locations
- Following all preferred work methods, safety policies, and procedures per company guidelines
- Ensuring the work area is safe and reporting any unsafe conditions and/or acts immediately
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
- 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience
- Ability to work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for the position
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift
- Ability to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location, throughout the shift
- Ability to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e., cooler, freezer, and dry
- Ability to obtain certifications for powered equipment, such as Forklift operation
Pay and Schedule
Pay starts at $20.00, and the shift is Sunday-Thursday starting at 3:00pm.
