Warehouse Associate - Night Shift (FL)

Sun-Thu 5:00pm - finish, 8+ hour shift, overtime mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Accurately select/pick merchandise from assigned slot and confirm the correct quantity and unit of measure.
• Load merchandise into appropriate truck.
• Drop merchandise for "reserve" to "pick" slots.
• Prepare VIA merchandise for shipment on freight lines.
• Repack loose merchandise for shipping/delivery.
• Verify quality of product, packaging and adherence to vendor compliance policy.
• Accurately adhere to Warehouse Labor Standard, “Preferred Method Standard”.
• Identify and report slot and put-away problems.
• Shrink wrap merchandise/pallets after picking as needed.
• Perform housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must pass a functional capacity test.
• Ability to operate forklift/pallet jack and cherry picker.
• Ability to lift 40-60 pounds repeatedly each shift.
• Ability to bend, stoop, climb, stand, and twist for extended periods of time.
• Successfully complete forklift training/certification requirements.
• Operate a Radio Frequency (RF) or Voice Pick devices.

Qualifications

• 1+ year warehouse experience (preferred).
• Previous forklift certification (preferred).
• Material handling equipment experience (preferred).
• Reach truck experience (preferred).
• Knowledge of SAP (preferred).

Work Environment

The job is performed in a warehouse/operations environment. Frequently exposed to fast-moving material handling equipment or other mechanical equipment. This is a full-time position requiring the ability to work a varying schedule which might include shift work (days or nights), weekdays or weekends, and some holidays. Work hours may vary or change based on customer orders, departmental, or business requirements. The position does not require travel.
