Warehouse Associate - Night Shift (FL)

Responsible for

• Receiving, stocking, preparation and shipping of merchandise
• Local and outlying area deliveries

Essential Duties

• Accurately select/pick merchandise from assigned slot and confirm the correct quantity and unit of measure
• Load merchandise into appropriate truck
• Drop merchandise for "reserve" to "pick" slots
• Prepare VIA merchandise for shipment on freight lines
• Repack loose merchandise for shipping/delivery
• Verify quality of product, packaging and adherence to vendor compliance policy
• Accurately adhere to Warehouse Labor Standard, “Preferred Method Standard”
• Identify and report slot and put-away problems
• Shrink wrap merchandise/pallets after picking as needed
• Perform housekeeping duties as assigned
• Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Ability to operate forklift/pallet jack and cherry picker
• Lift 40-60 pounds repeatedly each shift
• Bend, stoop, climb, stand and twist for extended periods of time
• Successfully complete forklift training/certification requirements
• Operate a Radio Frequency (RF) or Voice Pick devices

Work Environment

• Frequently exposed to fast-moving material handling equipment or other mechanical equipment

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must pass a functional capacity test
• Preferred Knowledge of SAP
• 1+ year warehouse experience
• Previous forklift certification
• Material handling equipment experience
• Reach truck experience
