Warehouse Associate - Medical Waste

About the role

The Plant Associate is responsible for unloading waste from vehicles, decontaminating vehicles, and staging waste for processing using conveyor systems and the Biotrack system for accurate recordkeeping.

Responsibilities

  • Sort waste materials for processing
  • Operate autoclaves and incinerators
  • Manage reusable containers
  • Ensure proper decontamination and housekeeping standards
  • Maintain accurate recordkeeping using the Biotrack system
  • Adhere to safety protocols and communicate effectively
  • Perform physical tasks including standing, lifting, pushing, and pulling
  • Work in diverse environments, both inside and outside

Requirements

  • Safety awareness and compliance
  • Effective communication skills
  • Physical ability to stand, lift, push, pull, and work in varied environments
  • Potential drug testing and safety compliance for employment

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include at least one year of experience in a plant setting and a valid driver’s license.
