Warehouse Associate / Material Handler
About the role
As the Warehouse Associate you will be responsible for pulling and staging insulation materials, accurately loading customer orders, receiving and organizing incoming inventory, and keeping the warehouse clean and organized. This position will also assist walk-in customers with their material needs and help maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a forklift and/or pallet jack to move and load materials.
- Count and organize inventory, ensuring materials are stored in an orderly and accessible manner.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers, including floor-loaded material from 52-foot trailers.
- Review Bills of Lading (BOLs) when receiving materials and report any shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
- Assist walk-in customers with loading materials into their pickup trucks.
- Frequently bend, stoop, push, pull, and lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs. during loading and unloading.
- Stand and remain active for extended periods, up to 12 hours, while performing job duties.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment at all times.
- Follow all company safety procedures and proper material-handling practices.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- If operating a vehicle for Company purposes, a valid driver’s license will be required.
- Compute basic math problems.
- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
- Forklift certification is preferred, but not required.
Physical Requirements
This role requires prolonged standing and repetitive motions, including bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling. The position also requires good hand-eye coordination, hand dexterity, and physical strength. You will be lifting up to 50 pounds, depending on the specific job duties.

Pay
Compensation range: $13.00 - $30.00 per hour. Actual offers depend on factors such as location, experience, skills, and market data. This position may also offer variable compensation.
