Warehouse Associate - Material Handler

About the role

This position is responsible for picking parts and materials, delivering them to the proper location, and unloading deliveries of parts and materials to place them in the appropriate area. The role involves operating a fork truck and heavy lifting.

Tools and Equipment

• Hand and powered truck
• Computer keyboard and terminal
• Shrink-gun
• Heat resistant equipment
• Protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields

Responsibilities

• Pick parts from various locations based on daily requirements and stage for delivery
• Transport parts to assigned areas
• Unload shipments of raw material and finished goods
• Verify serial numbers and/or quantity and place them in proper locations
• Process and update various inventory control paperwork and computer reports
• Use F.I.F.O. (First in, first out) inventory methods
• Complete all assigned or team duties in a timely manner
• Keep work area clean, safe, and hazard free
• Perform other duties as assigned
