About the role
The Warehouse Associate II position at White Cap is a key role in our team, responsible for safely operating a forklift to load, unload, and move merchandise. This role also involves picking, packing, and shipping products to customers, receiving, counting, and recording shipment information into the system, and working both inside the warehouse and outside in the yard.
Responsibilities
- Safely operates a forklift to load, unload, and move merchandise.
- Picks, packs, and ships products to customers.
- Receives, counts, and records shipment information into the system.
- Maintains a safe and efficient work environment.
- Works inside the warehouse or outside in the yard.
- Lifts and carries material up to 50 pounds.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Generally has 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility.
- Preferred qualifications include forklift experience, familiarity with hand and power tools, attention to detail, and Spanish language proficiency.
Qualifications
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. No specific certifications are required, but forklift operation training may be provided.
Skills
Strong physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of basic computer operations and software.

Pay
Pay Range: $19.40 - $25.80 hourly. California law requires the posting of the salary range for advertised jobs. Individual base pay is determined based on a variety of elements including experience, skills, internal equity and other factors.
