About the Role

The Janitor ensures the health and safety of all associates by maintaining a clean and safe workplace in our warehouse facility, including dry, cooler, and freezer areas, as well as office spaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation tasks in warehouse and office areas.
• Complete all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Report unsafe conditions or acts immediately to ensure associate safety.
• Perform cleaning duties such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup, and related tasks.
• Handle cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets.
• Complete assigned Pure Safety training modules accurately and on time.
• Operate pallet jacks to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles as needed.
• Lift, stack, or pull products weighing between 10-35 pounds, occasionally up to 60-90 pounds.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work scheduled/assigned times and required overtime.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Ability to obtain certifications for powered equipment, such as forklift operation.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Pay

Starts at $17.75 per hour.
