Essential Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists for accuracy and damage.
- Document discrepancies, damages, or shortages and report them to the appropriate personnel.
- Accurately sort, count, label, and store incoming materials and products in designated warehouse locations.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation as needed.
- Collaborate with other warehouse departments to ensure smooth workflow and accurate inventory.
Required Qualifications
- High school Diploma or local equivalent/GED
- Minimum 1-year related experience
- Demonstrate ability to read, write and speak in local language (English)
- Proficient in basic mathematics
- Communicate well and work with others
- Consistently lift 35 lbs. alone, anything over 35 lbs. requires assistance
- Show strong attention to detail and accuracy in counting and documentation
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer applications
- Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Show strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities
Desired Characteristics
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in storing and receiving
- Basic knowledge of computerized material flow methods
- Basic knowledge of quality and inventory control
- Oracle GLPROD and e DHR experience a plus
