About the role
The Warehouse Associate II position at White Cap is a key role in the company's mission to support the construction industry and build America's skyline. This role involves operating a forklift, picking, packing, and shipping products, receiving shipments, and performing other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Safely operates a forklift to load, unload, and move merchandise.
- Picks, packs, and ships products to customers.
- Receives, counts, and records shipment information into the system.
- May work inside the warehouse or outside in the yard.
- Lifts and carries material up to 50 pounds.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Generally has 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Forklift experience
- Familiarity with hand and power tools
- Attention to detail
- Spanish language proficiency
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and generally have 2-5 years of experience in a warehouse or similar environment. Forklift experience and Spanish language proficiency are preferred qualifications.
