Warehouse Associate II
Responsibilities
- Work with the shipping team to gather and load product onto trucks as needed.
- Unload chemicals from tanker trucks into bulk tanks.
- Verify material of incoming tanker trucks and ensure hoses are connected correctly.
- Locate and move material to the appropriate area using a forklift.
- Unload packaging and raw material trucks.
- Pack, seal, label, and prepare materials for shipping when required.
- Load material onto truck trailers properly spacing and arranging material for optimal delivery sequence.
- Stage loads for full truck and LTL shipments.
- Close production work orders when needed.
- Perform some assembly work.
- Pick parts and products for the truck.
- Organize items ordered by customers and prepare them for shipment.
- Operate equipment to collect, deliver, and package goods.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Follow all forklift rules and regulations.
- Follow warehouse safety guidelines.
- Adhere to housekeeping standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years warehouse experience required.
- Forklift experience required.
- Scan Gun experience required.
- High School Diploma/GED required.
Additional Information
- Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment.
- Will require heavy work (lifting greater than 30 pounds).
- Ability to carry 50 lbs. for 100 feet unassisted.
- Machinery operation requires the use of safety PPE equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, steel-toe shoes, and hardhats.
- Regularly required to stand or sit, and move about the facility.
- Ability to stand for 8 hours per day.
- Materials and Equipment Used: Will require proper coordination, and motor skills to work with power/hand tools as needed. Tools: SAP Software, Label Machines, scales and printers.
- Candidates will be required to complete a background check and drug screen before beginning work.
