About the role

The Warehouse Associate II supports daily warehouse logistics to operate at maximum efficiency. This position is responsible for shipping and receiving, inventory management, and customer order fulfillment while adhering to all company policies and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Order Fulfillment
  • Pull customer orders from warehouse shelves, ensuring accuracy based on item number, serial numbers, size, and quantity.
  • Pull and load orders for SupplySight and manage Will Calls.
  • Perform checks and balances to confirm physical inventory counts match records (Cycle Counts - 1st count).
• Receiving and Unloading
  • Physically receive warehouse orders, inspect items, and match deliveries to purchase orders.
  • Log received items into the warehouse management system and follow up on delayed orders.
  • Load and unload palletized freight; move products between receiving, storage, and shipping areas.
  • Organize and stock shelves efficiently and maintain inventory prior to shelving.
  • Perform Cycle Counts (2nd count) and handle non-conforming products per company policies and OSHA protocols.
• Warehouse Maintenance
  • Clean, stock, and supply designated facility areas to promote a safe, organized work environment.
  • Maintain and organize warehouse shelving; check shelf-life for expiration and dispose of inventory per health and safety standards.
  • Operate motorized forklifts and standard warehouse equipment safely; conduct daily checkpoint inspections.
• Shipping
  • Manage shipment and receipt of products via UPS, FedEx, and other freight companies.
  • Label orders and prepare hazardous/non-hazardous items for shipping in compliance with OSHA and internal protocols.
  • Perform final inspections before products are shipped.
• Quality Control
  • Promote operational excellence and identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Inspect products for defects and damages; address issues with the Operations Manager.
  • Ensure proper Product Certifications and Safety Data Sheets are included in orders where applicable.
  • Oversee packing and shipping of hazardous materials (Hazmat Certified).
• Coaching & Mentoring
  • Conduct warehouse observations, demonstrate best practices, and provide feedback to employees.
  • Train and mentor employees on standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Coach employees to support their individual development and growth.
• Additional Assignments
  • Perform administrative tasks, including paperwork, credit card processing, and shipping verifications.
  • Handle credit card transactions at shipment and assist with WTDO/WT in shipped & picked stages.
  • Conduct data entry for receiving into the ERP system and organize monthly hazmat meetings.
  • Manage warehouse equipment maintenance and conduct daily inventory counts.
  • Track and ensure timely processing of warehouse-to-warehouse transfers.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 2 to 5 years of related warehouse experience and/or training.

  • Product inspection for defects/damages and basic mathematical skills.
  • Data analysis (cycle counts, freight invoices) and warehousing system/data entry knowledge.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and UPS/FedEx shipping platforms.
  • Understanding of safety compliance and proper PPE use.

Certifications & Licenses

• Hazmat Certified.
• Forklift Certified or minimum 2 years’ experience operating warehouse equipment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to operate standard warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift, hand truck, pallet jack).
• Ability to lift, pull, or push up to 100 lbs.
• Full range of body movements, including bending, reaching, and crouching.
• Close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Working Conditions

This role primarily involves manual labor in a warehouse setting. Associates frequently work on their feet and may perform substantial lifting over long shifts. Sound physical condition is desired.

Pay

Target compensation range for this Non-Exempt role is $25.00 hourly, or $52,000 if annualized, depending on experience.
