About the Role

The Warehouse Associate II supports daily warehouse logistics to operate at maximum efficiency. This position is responsible for shipping and receiving, inventory management, and customer order fulfillment while adhering to all company policies and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Order Fulfillment
    • Pull customer orders from warehouse shelves, ensuring accuracy based on item number, serial numbers, size, and quantity.
    • Pull and load orders for SupplySight and manage Will Calls.
    • Perform checks and balances to confirm physical inventory counts match inventory records (Cycle Counts - 1st count).
  • Receiving and Unloading
    • Physically receive warehouse orders, inspect items, match deliveries to purchase orders, and log received items into the warehouse management system.
    • Follow up on delayed orders and promptly load/unload palletized freight.
    • Move products and supplies from receiving or storage areas to shipping or other designated areas.
    • Organize and maintain stock orders prior to shelving and stock shelves efficiently.
    • Perform checks and balances to confirm physical inventory counts match inventory records (Cycle Counts - 2nd count).
    • Handle non-conforming products according to company policies, OSHA, and internal protocols.
  • Warehouse Maintenance
    • Clean, stock, and supply designated facility areas to promote a healthy, safe work environment.
    • Maintain and organize warehouse shelving for optimal operational efficiency.
    • Check shelf-life for expiration and dispose of inventory according to health and safety standards.
    • Safely operate motorized forklifts and standard warehouse equipment, conducting daily checkpoint inspections.
  • Shipping
    • Manage shipment and receipt of products via UPS, FedEx, and other freight companies.
    • Label orders and prepare for shipping, handling hazardous and non-hazardous items in accordance with OSHA and internal protocols.
    • Perform final inspections before products are shipped.
  • Quality Control
    • Promote operational excellence and identify opportunities for process improvements.
    • Perform quality assurance checks and inspect products for defects and damages.
    • Proactively address issues with the Operations Manager, including inventory and supply needs.
    • Ensure proper Product Certifications and Safety Data Sheets are included on each order where applicable.
    • Oversee the packing and shipping of hazardous materials (Hazmat Certified).
  • Coaching & Mentoring
    • Conduct warehouse observations, demonstrate best practices, and provide feedback to employees.
    • Train and mentor employees according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
    • Coach employees to enhance their individual development and growth.
  • Additional Assignments
    • Perform administrative tasks related to paperwork, credit card processing, shipping verifications, and unconfirmed shipments.
    • Process credit card transactions at the time of shipment.
    • Assist operations in WTDO/WT in shipped and picked stages.
    • Perform data entry for receiving into the ERP system.
    • Organize monthly hazmat meetings.
    • Manage warehouse equipment maintenance.
    • Conduct daily inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy in the ERP system.
    • Track and ensure timely processing of outgoing and incoming warehouse-to-warehouse transfers.
    • Other job duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • At least 2 to 5 years of related experience and/or training.

    • Experience with order fulfillment, receiving and unloading, packing, and shipping.
    • Inventory control and records keeping, including physical inventories and cycle counts.
    • Ability to make key inventory adjustments on a computer.
    • Problem-solving and product inspection for defects/damages.
    • Basic mathematical skills and data analysis (cycle counts, freight invoices, etc.).
    • Warehousing system experience, data entry, and knowledge.
    • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
    • Experience with UPS and FedEx shipping web platforms.
    • Intermediate knowledge of safety compliance and proper PPE use.

Certifications & Licenses

  • Hazmat Certified.
  • Forklift Certified or a minimum of 2 years’ experience operating warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift, hand truck, pallet jack).

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to operate standard warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift, hand truck, pallet jack).
  • Ability to lift, pull, or push up to 100 lbs.
  • Full range of body movements, including bending, reaching, and crouching.
  • Close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Working Conditions

This role primarily involves manual labor in a warehouse setting. Warehouse associates frequently work on their feet and may perform substantial lifting over long shifts. Being in sound physical shape is desired.

Pay

Target base compensation range for this non-exempt role is $23.00/hour, depending on experience.
