Warehouse Associate I - Shipping (12:30PM - 9:00PM)

About the role

Arrow Electronics is seeking a Warehouse Associate I - Shipping to join their fast-paced electronics repair and processing facility in Reno, NV.

Responsibilities

• Support all departments including receiving, picking, and shipping.
• Perform physical activities necessary to receive, sort, package, ship, and teardown inventory.
• Move inventory to appropriate staging areas for further processing.
• Verify asset counts, sort, and label product.
• Load and unload product onto the production line.
• Disassemble electronic equipment per company and customer specifications.
• Identify and sort commodities into appropriate categories.
• Consolidate and prepare pallets for shipment.
• Utilize material handling equipment.
• Maintain system transactions and paperwork.
• Ensure quantity, quality, and accuracy of production levels.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to regularly operate a computer for basic functions.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Reading, writing, and understanding of English language.
• Standing and walking for considerable lengths of time.
• Bending to floor level and heavy lifting (up to 50Lbs).
• Collaborate with team members, leads, and supervisors.
• Comfortable working under high productivity and quality standards.
• Impeccable attendance.
• Flexible work schedule.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Maintain organization, cleanliness, and 5S standards.
• Read printed numbers, letters, and symbols with a 5-point font size.
• Operate facility material handling equipment and packaging equipment after training.
• Perform end-user computer functions.
• Basic math skills for counting quickly and accurately.

Pay

Hourly Rate: $19.00

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.

Schedule

Shift: 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM, Monday-Friday.
