Warehouse Associate I Part-Time

Pay and Schedule

$17.00–$18.00 an hour

• Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday: 3:00 PM–6:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM–5:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Unpackage, assemble, and prepare furniture for transport on delivery trucks and in customer vehicles
• Inspect furniture for damage and flaws to ensure customer satisfaction
• Move furniture in a timely and safe manner while working independently and as part of a team
• Maintain a safe and efficient working environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Experience: No experience necessary; job training will be provided
• Physical Demands: High physical demands; regularly required to stand for sustained periods
• Lifting Requirements: Lift, push, and pull up to 150 pounds individually and up to 300 pounds as part of a team
• Movement: Ascend and descend ladders and stairs safely; may work safely from heights when necessary
• Safety: Adhere to safe lifting techniques, follow proper training for job hazards and ergonomic risk factors, participate in departmental stretching program, and maintain a safe working environment
• Communication: Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
