About the role

Warehouse Associate on the 2nd shift (Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM) earning $23.12 per hour plus a $1.00 per hour shift differential.

Responsibilities

• Load and/or unload incoming and/or outgoing materials and products.
• Sort and move palletized and bulk materials in and out of trailers, flatbeds, containers, loading docks, and storage racks/areas.
• Pack and wrap boxed/palletized goods with a focus on accurate counting and auditing of material.
• Identify, label, and track materials/pallets to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Prepare finished products for shipment by locating, picking, packing, and loading items (physically and systematically).
• Operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PITs) including pallet jacks, forklifts, cherry pickers, reach trucks, and stock chasers.
• Use RF scanners/computers to retrieve product codes, part numbers, quantities, and location information.
• Track and log all PIT checklists and ensure compliance with operating procedures, safety guidelines, and plant rules.
• Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards as defined by site leadership.
• Plan workload, priorities, and supplies with Supervisor/Manager, and assess skills to complete tasks.
• Print and sort order paperwork and perform cycle counts as needed.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; must pass a drug screen and background check.
• Ability to lift and manipulate up to 50 lbs or assist in team lifts of 51+ pounds.
• Standing and walking up to 10 hours per day.
• Must work in various indoor/outdoor conditions.
• Strong sense of time organization, urgency, and comfort in a fast-paced environment.
• 3+ years of Forklift Certification/Previous Experience operating PITs preferred.
• 3+ years of Warehouse experience in a retail/large box distribution center preferred.
