About the role
The position is located at our East Point location and is scheduled to work Sunday through Thursday. Candidates must be available to work weekends and flexible hours as business needs require.
Responsibilities
- Ensures accurate warehouse inventory in all staging and storage areas, including Ambient, Refrigerated and Freezer locations
- Utilizes Warehouse Management System (WMS) for product placement and/or picking in the Ambient, Refrigerated, and/or Freezer areas
- Verifies and accurately records product counts, weight, or other measurement units on all product being received, stored, picked, or fulfilled
- Ensures all physical product movements are appropriately recorded in electronic WWMS and/or other tracking system(s) and documentation
- Utilizes First in First out (FIFO) procedures
- Maintains Food Safety and Housekeeping requirements in all warehouse operations
- Ensures proper storage temperatures and conditions are maintained, tracked and recorded
- Keeps all floor areas organized, free of debris, water or other potential contaminants or hazards
- Follows Personnel Safety procedures
- Inspects warehouse equipment for proper and safe operation prior to using
- Wears and utilizes all required PPE and safety equipment / tools
- Performs other duties as assigned
