Warehouse Associate I

About the Role

You would be working at a busy cold chain shipping and logistics facility near the airport that packs and ships temperature-sensitive healthcare shipments. This is a hands-on warehouse role focused on packaging, inventory, and shipping documentation.

Shift: Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Pay: $23.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Assemble ready-for-use packaging systems for pickups
• Manage cold chain shipments across all temperature ranges
• Create shipment documentation as needed
• Manage inventory of packaging systems and components, including gel packs
• Refurbish reusable packaging
• Safely handle dry ice and replenish shipment supplies
• Use temperature monitoring devices and follow related procedures
• Issue airway bills for domestic and international shipments and return packaging assets
• Complete required compliance documentation logs
• Identify product temperature-keeping and replenishment needs

Requirements

• Able to lift 40 pounds
• Good customer service and phone skills for scheduling pickups
• Comfortable learning cold chain management principles and procedures
• Basic computer skills for using warehouse management systems
• Willing to obtain any required identification credentials on day one of assignment

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift certification
• Prior experience in warehouse, logistics, or cold chain shipping
