Responsibilities
- Accurately selecting items/equipment from warehouse inventory using handheld scanning device and preparing the order for shipment.
- Safely delivering the order to customers on time while providing an elevated level of customer service.
- Communication to customers and warehouse management with solution-oriented thinking in the event of unforeseen delivery delays.
- Safely loading on and off of large motor vehicle.
- Able to safely operate forklift with proper training and certification and other material handling equipment.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area and environment.
Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years old with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 2-3 years order fulfillment (customer order picking/selection) and/or product delivery experience.
- Previous experience in the Electrical Industry and/or inventory management is a plus.
- Ability to lift, move, stack and stock products up to 50lbs; occasionally performs same activities weighing up to 70lbs.
- Experience operating an RF scan gun is a plus.
