Warehouse Associate I -- 2nd Shift

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist Operator with set-up on production equipment per detailed work instructions.
• Ensure the proper materials are used, as per scheduled guidelines and brand requirements.
• Inspect packaging of product to ensure quality is maintained within established quality guidelines.
• Communicate with other employees and supervision to ensure proper materials are being used.
• Support and maintain a proper level of materials to ensure adequate supply and maintain production.
• Able to learn and retain knowledge regarding various duties and various department guidelines.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail, proactivity, and effective follow-through.
• Flexibility to function in a fast paced and innovative environment.

Requirements

• Skills and Experience: Required - High School Diploma or equivalent
• Preferred - Previous experience in a manufacturing warehouse environment, Forklift experience

Physical Requirements

• Walking, climbing, stooping, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds
• Must be visually capable to distinguish differences in color and wording on product and to detect non-tobacco related materials.

Working Conditions

• This role is based on a fast-paced, climate-controlled production environment.
• Requires standing for extended periods and exposure to manufacturing noise.
• Must follow all safety, hygiene, and PPE (personal protective equipment) protocols.
