Warehouse Associate (Forklift + Shipping)

Pay

$19/Hr. to $20/Hr. (DOE)

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM (OT as needed)

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and verify their contents against purchase orders or packing lists.
• Utilize equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks to unload and transport materials to designated storage areas.
• Organize and store materials in accordance with inventory management procedures, ensuring proper rotation to prevent spoilage or obsolescence.
• Fulfill orders by accurately picking items from storage locations using hand-held scanners or other technology.
• Pack outbound shipments securely, label packages with shipping information, and arrange for transportation carriers to pick up deliveries.
• Monitor inventory levels and conduct routine inventory counts to reconcile discrepancies and ensure accurate recordkeeping.
• Assist with audits or cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy and identify any potential issues.
• Operate equipment safely and adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to facilitate efficient material handling operations.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow and meet production or customer demands effectively.

Requirements

• Stand-Up Forklift experience
• LTL & Hazmat Shipping experience preferred
• High school diploma or GED
