What You Can Do
- Support accurate inbound processing by comparing packing slips with bills of lading, invoices, and orders, and maintaining files on purchase orders and packing slips.
- Use SAP WMS (after training) and related systems to enter records, perform receipts, and create production bundles, including inventory transactions, label creation, assembly, and moving finished bundles into stock.
- Ensure inventory integrity by identifying product or inventory discrepancies, processing returns, inspecting materials against finished-goods standards, and correctly barcode-labeling all products going into stock.
- Navigate the warehouse efficiently using the bin sequence strategy and RF scanning to pick, store, and locate materials, and perform physical inventory counts to meet company standards.
- Operate lift trucks, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely to load/unload trucks and move products between warehouse, shipping/receiving, and storage areas.
- Prepare outbound shipments by examining stock, packaging products with appropriate materials, affixing accurate shipping labels, sorting parcels by destination (including separating dealer orders for weekly pick-up), and checking that product, quantities, and addresses meet specifications.
- Help ensure orders leave right the first time by documenting any issues for follow-up.
