Warehouse Associate/Driver - Casual

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Associate/Driver to join our team in Dallas, TX. Your efficiency and attention to detail will help DHL deliver cargo on time, every time.

Responsibilities

• Transport cargo shipments to/from the airport, area carriers, and direct customer pick-up and deliveries.
• Move shipments and materials to and from receiving, staging, or designated areas.
• Sort and place shipments on racks, shelves, or designated areas according to destination.
• Build and maximize airline containers and pallets; load/unload vehicles, vans, straight trucks, and tractor trailers.
• Enter data into freight station inventory and warehouse management system using desktop computer and handheld scanner.
• Perform pick and pack assembly; assemble shipments from storage for export; mark and label shipments; prepare bills of lading.
• Weigh and measure shipments; prepare on-hand notices.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, hand truck, and other warehouse equipment to transport shipments.

Requirements

• Class B CDL required; Class A CDL preferred.
• Hazmat endorsement strongly preferred, but not required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, cargo handling, and materials handling equipment (e.g., forklift) preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Pay

$34.96 per hour in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
