Warehouse Associate/ Driver - Cape May, NJ

Responsibilities

• Accurately check and receive inbound products, confirming shipments match purchase orders.
• Inspect product packaging to ensure it is neat and intact.
• Restock inventory neatly, efficiently, and accurately in assigned locations.
• Perform cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Utilize radio frequency (RF) guns to scan barcodes and labels for inventory tracking.
• Use a company vehicle to make deliveries according to the manifest.
• Maintain logs and records using technology, including obtaining customer signatures.
• Verify delivered materials are accurate and in excellent condition.

Requirements

• Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
• Familiarity with electrical products.
• Strong organizational skills.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and effective time management.
• Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to safety in all job responsibilities.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• Ability to stand and walk for the full length of the assigned shift.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 lbs., and heavier with proper equipment.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb to perform various duties.
• Ability to safely operate powered industrial trucks (training provided).
• Work is performed in a light industrial warehouse and retail setting.
• Ability to drive a commercial vehicle for short and long periods.
• Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.
• Continuous mental and visual attention to stay alert while driving.
• Flexibility and mobility to move in and out of the vehicle to load and unload materials.
• Exposure to outdoor weather conditions during loading and unloading.

Pay

$18 - $20/hour

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 3:00pm
