T.E.M. Group, Inc. is seeking a dependable, hardworking Warehouse Associate & Delivery Driver to join our growing team. This hands-on position plays a vital role in supporting our field crews by ensuring materials, tools, equipment, and vehicles are organized, maintained, and delivered where they're needed. Responsibilities

  • Delivery & Material Support:
    • Safely and promptly transport materials, tools, and equipment between the warehouse, vendors, and job sites.
    • Properly load, unload, secure, and protect materials for safe transportation.
    • Pick up materials, supplies, and equipment from vendors as needed.
    • Verify deliveries for accuracy and communicate any shortages, damage, or delays.
    • Maintain delivery vehicles in a clean, safe, and organized condition.
    • Maintain a valid DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate to operate applicable company vehicles.
  • Warehouse Operations:
    • Receive, organize, store, and issue warehouse materials.
    • Assist with organizing and maintaining warehouse inventory.
    • Prepare and stage materials, tools, and equipment for field crews.
    • Process orders, returns, transfers, and other inventory transactions.
    • Maintain accurate stock counts and properly document material movement.
    • Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory.
    • Keep materials properly labeled and stored in their designated locations.
    • Operate (or learn to operate) a forklift and other warehouse equipment safely.
    • Use T.E.M.’s inventory-management software and other technology to complete assigned responsibilities.
  • Equipment & Fleet Support:
    • Inspect, clean, maintain, and organize tools and equipment to ensure they are job-ready.
    • Help ensure that tools and equipment are complete and in good working condition before being issued.
    • Promptly report damaged, missing, or unsafe tools and equipment.
    • Perform basic preventive maintenance on vehicles, trailers, and small equipment.
    • Assist with basic fleet maintenance tasks, such as checking fluids, changing tires, jump-starting vehicles, and identifying needed repairs.
    • Operate (or be willing to learn to operate) equipment relevant to the position.
    • Help maintain accurate records related to company tools, equipment, vehicles, and trailers.
    • Mechanical experience is strongly preferred. Depending on the employee’s skills and interests, this position may grow to include additional responsibility for preventive maintenance and coordination of T.E.M.’s vehicle, trailer, and equipment fleet.
  • Warehouse & Facility Maintenance:
    • Keep the warehouse, yard, storage containers, and related work areas clean, organized, and safe.
    • Remove trash, address spills, and maintain clear aisles and walkways.
    • Help maintain an efficient and professional work environment.
    • Assist with other warehouse, facility, and operational needs as assigned.
  • Safety & Compliance:
    • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
    • Safely operate company vehicles, forklifts, trailers, and other equipment.
    • Inspect vehicles and equipment before use and promptly report unsafe conditions.
    • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and mutual respect.
    • Perform all responsibilities with integrity and attention to detail.

Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience: Two or more years of experience in warehouse operations, delivery, logistics, construction, fleet support, mechanical work, or a related position is preferred. Experience in construction, electrical contracting, or an industrial environment is a plus but is not required. Mechanical experience and the ability to perform basic vehicle, trailer, tool, or equipment maintenance are strongly preferred. A willingness to learn is essential.
  • Licensing:
    • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record is required.
    • DOT Med Card preferred (or willingness to obtain one after hire).
    • CDL is a plus but not required.
  • Skills & Qualities:
    • Punctual and dependable.
    • Positive, steady, and solutions-oriented attitude.
    • Willingness to help with both routine responsibilities and unexpected needs.
    • Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
    • Comfortable communicating with field employees, office personnel, vendors, and customers.
    • Comfortable using hand tools and power tools.
    • Basic mechanical aptitude.
    • Basic computer knowledge, including email and Microsoft Office.
    • Comfortable using a smartphone, tablet, and inventory-management technology.
    • Ability and willingness to learn new systems, procedures, and equipment.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to completing work correctly.
    • Ability to respond professionally when schedules or priorities change.

Physical Requirements

The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation, including:

  • Frequently lift and carry materials weighing up to 80 pounds safely.
  • Load and unload vehicles, trailers, tools, materials, and equipment.
  • Climb step ladders and extension ladders up to 28 feet.
  • Drive for up to three consecutive hours.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Bend, kneel, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks.
  • Safely enter and exit company vehicles and operate warehouse equipment.

A successful Warehouse Associate & Delivery Driver:

  • Completes deliveries safely, accurately, and promptly.
  • Communicates early when a delivery, order, or assignment may be delayed.
  • Keeps the warehouse organized without needing constant direction.
  • Handles changing priorities with a professional and helpful attitude.
  • Treats field employees, office employees, vendors, and customers with respect.
  • Takes ownership of mistakes and helps resolve them.
  • Takes pride in maintaining T.E.M.’s tools, equipment, vehicles, and facilities.
  • Understands that every delivery and warehouse task directly supports the success of our field crews.

Pay

Hourly wage: $21–$25 per hour, based on relevant experience, qualifications, driving history, mechanical abilities, and equipment skills.

Schedule

Work hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., with a 30-minute lunch. Occasional overtime or work outside standard hours may be required based on project needs. This is a full-time, hourly position.
