Warehouse Associate (Days)

About the role

Supports third-party logistics operations by training warehouse associates, ensuring safe equipment use, and overseeing daily warehouse activities.

Responsibilities

• Train staff on duties, responsibilities, and safety procedures, observing performance to correct behaviors.
• Assist with order fulfillment, receiving, stocking, returns, and oversee shipping operations.
• Provide tactical guidance to team members, manage workloads, and recommend workflow efficiencies.
• Manage inventory levels, monitor stock, and operate motorized equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks.
• Participate in supervision tasks like assigning work, covering manpower needs, and addressing associate concerns.
• Utilize computer systems for operations and reporting, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory policies.
• Perform related duties, including physical inventory and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent, with at least 2 years of work experience.
• Ability to read, understand English, and perform basic mathematical tasks.

Skills

• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of warehouse workflows and equipment operation, including reach trucks and forklifts.
• Ability to work overtime, participate in physical inventories, and maintain attendance and productivity standards.
• Basic computer skills and a team-oriented mindset with problem-solving abilities.
