About the role
Performs a variety of material handling duties associated with the warehouse, including pulling and assembling customer orders, checking outbound orders for accuracy and completeness, inventory stock checks, restocking and labeling vendor products, maintaining displays, moving and replenishing material, and conducting daily cycle counts.
Performs receiving duties such as unloading inbound material, processing inbound shipments, stocking material, processing customer returns, and notifying management of damaged shipments for freight claims. Operates crane forklift equipment and maintains a clean, organized facility. May assist customers and prepare sales slips. Ensures a safe working environment by following all safety rules and reporting accidents or unsafe conditions.
Responsibilities
- Pull and assemble customer orders
- Check outbound orders for accuracy and completeness
- Conduct inventory stock checks and daily cycle counts
- Restock and label vendor products
- Maintain displays (tools, caulk, etc.)
- Move, store, and replenish material
- Receive and unload inbound material
- Process inbound shipments and customer returns
- Notify management of damaged shipments for freight claims
- Operate crane forklift equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized facility (sweeping, removing trash, restroom maintenance, general office upkeep)
- Assist customers and prepare sales slips
- Follow all safety rules and report accidents, unsafe conditions, or acts to management
- Perform other related duties as required
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent experience
- Forklift experience required
- Crane forklift experience a plus
- 1+ years of previous warehouse experience preferred
- Basic math skills
- Organization and customer service skills
- Fluency in English
- Detail-oriented and safety-conscious
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms
- Required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- May sit, climb, balance, talk, or hear
- Must regularly lift 15-30 lbs; occasionally required to safely lift up to 70 lbs
- Team lift required for materials weighing over 70 lbs or exceeding 36 inches
- Specific vision abilities required: close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus

Pay
Expected base pay rates for this role will be between $17.84 and $22.31 per hour at the commencement of employment. Compensation may vary by location. Final base pay is determined based on job-related factors such as work location, skills, experience, education, and training, consistent with applicable state and local laws.
