Warehouse Associate Backup Non-CDL Driver - Oshkosh

About the role

Viking Electric is seeking a Warehouse Associate Backup Non-CDL Delivery Driver to join our team in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. This role involves making local deliveries of electrical products from the warehouse to customers, ensuring all deliveries are made safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle inspections at the start and end of your route
• Transport and deliver products to customers with care
• Unload items such as wire, pipe, conduit, and boxes during deliveries
• Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations
• Maintain a friendly and courteous demeanor with customers
• Fill orders and issue materials and supplies per requests
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, walking riders, reach trucks, EZGo carts, hand trucks or dollies
• Pack and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Other warehouse duties as assigned

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• At least 21 years old
• Ability to climb into and drive delivery vehicles
• Ability to lift packages weighing up to 85 pounds
• Ability to pass and maintain Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
• Basic math skills (add and subtract numbers)
• Basic English communication skills
• Willingness to learn how to operate equipment (training provided)
• Absolutely must be authorized to work in the United States
• 1 year of related driving experience and/or training

Hourly pay range: $20.00-$25.00 per hour (Pay for experience)
