About the role

The Warehouse Associate supports all warehouse operations by receiving, storing, organizing, picking, packing, and shipping inventory while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment. This position also serves as a backup Delivery Driver when business needs require.

Responsibilities

  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Receive, unload, inspect, and stock incoming inventory accurately.
  • Organize warehouse inventory and maintain proper stock levels and locations.
  • Pick, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
  • Rotate inventory and maintain shelving in an orderly manner.
  • Load merchandise safely and securely for customer deliveries and shipments.
  • Maintain warehouse equipment and ensure the warehouse remains clean and organized.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Auxiliary responsibilities include assisting with inventory counts and general warehouse operations as needed.
  • Serve as a backup delivery driver by delivering products safely and professionally to customers.
  • Ensure customer deliveries meet company quality and service standards.
  • Operate commercial vehicles in compliance with all DOT regulations and applicable federal, state, and local laws.
  • Perform required vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
  • Maintain all required driver qualifications, certifications, and an acceptable driving record.

Requirements

  • Previous warehouse experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with qualifications to operate commercial vehicles in accordance with applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Current DOT qualification with Hazmat endorsement required.
  • Acceptable driving record.
  • Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

  • Ability to walk and stand on concrete or hard surfaces for periods ranging from 2.5 to 8 hours.
  • Frequently reach, bend, twist, kneel, squat, climb ladders, and carry products throughout the workday.
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts, order pickers, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and environmental conditions, including indoor and outdoor settings.
  • Ability to safely operate company delivery vehicles when assigned.
