Warehouse Associate Back-up Driver - Bend

Responsibilities

• Order filling and receiving
• Improving warehouse cleanliness
• General warehouse work
• Safe forklift operation
• Cutting wire to custom lengths
• Acting as back-up delivery driver when needed
• Performing safe and reliable delivery to customer job sites, industrial locations, and other North Coast Electric locations
• Conducting daily pre-route vehicle inspections for safety and vehicle readiness using the Driver’s Vehicle Inspection Report
• Ensuring the truck is loaded correctly, secured, and within weight limits
• Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• Committed to 100% accuracy and doing tasks right the first time (DIRTFT)
• Ability to learn the use of handheld scanners and operating systems
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• DOT medical card or willingness to obtain one
• Self-motivated and teamwork-focused

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• Repetitive lifting and pulling of heavy objects (50+ lbs.)
• Work in a warehouse environment
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Typical 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday; occasional evening and weekend hours may be required based on business needs
• Requires punctual, regular, and reliable on-site attendance
