Warehouse Associate - B Day Shift (Thursday - Saturday Shift)

About the role

As an Order Puller, you will work in a warehouse environment to maintain the efficient flow of products through our distribution process. This role involves active, physical work in a team-oriented setting with a 3-day work week (Thursday–Saturday, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM) and full-time pay.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and ship a variety of building materials, including mouldings and doors
• Read and understand pick lists and paperwork
• Lift, push, and pull material bundles that weigh between 49–69 lbs
• Ensure accurate tallies and order quantities
• Operate various types of machinery, including an electric tugger and trailer
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area
• Perform all work safely and in a timely manner
• Product binning and put-away as needed

Requirements

• Ability to perform physical work and lift up to 50 lbs
• Experience in a warehouse environment
• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
• Strong communication skills
• Enjoy working in a team environment

Work Environment

• Surroundings: Work around moving machinery, including order pickers, forklifts, and mobile carts
• Activity: Operate machinery, constant walking, repetitive lifting, and use of a handheld scanner
• Temperature: Non-climate-controlled warehouse environment
• Noise level: Can be noisy at times; hearing protection provided if needed
• Dress code: Relaxed, with required PPE (safety shoes, high-visibility shirts or vests, eye protection, and gloves provided by Metrie)

Pay

Starting hourly rate of $23.00/hr.

Schedule

Thursday–Saturday, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM (4-day weekends every week).
