About the role
This position performs a variety of functions in the Inbound area, Stock management area, and Outbound area, involved with material handling, packaging, applying correct labels, confirming part identity by comparing details, receiving, assembling and storage of parts, materials and products.
Responsibilities
- Prepare parts/materials for shipment, pack material, verify materials and quantities, maintain inventory, verify stock counts, move parts and materials to proper areas
- Operate a variety of hand powered material handling and semi-automated/automated packaging equipment as well as scales, postage meters, conveyor systems
- Perform work from printed work order copies as well as various other written and verbal instructions
- Use computer terminals and RF scanners
- Maintain a variety of records pertaining to receiving, stock management, inventory, shipping
- Perform other duties as required
- May be required to work in various subsystems/departments
Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 0–6+ months of Warehouse experience
Preferred:
- Microsoft PC Outlook Office (mainly Excel), WMS DLX, WMS BY, and SAP software experience highly preferred
- Applicants must have good interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
Workplace considerations
- Must be able to lift up to 75lbs in weight on certain jobs
- Job duties require use of arithmetic, reading, writing, and measuring equipment
- Applicants must be able to work the required shift 1:30pm – 10:00pm; must be able to work overtime and Saturdays as required and must be able to work reasonable overtime as required by warehouse demand up to and including Sundays
Pay
The U.S. base hourly wage for this full-time position is $20.75. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.
