Warehouse Associate

About the role

The Warehouse Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient operations within Wagner Equipment Co., focusing on processes such as customer and shop credit processing, housekeeping, order verification, and part delivery.

Responsibilities

• Processes customer and shop credits
• Performs various housekeeping tasks to maintain cleanliness and safety
• Checks orders for accuracy
• Works cooperatively with team members to achieve warehouse/parts goals
• Fulfills safety rules and regulations
• Calls to schedule pick-ups
• Interfaces effectively with internal and external customers
• Pulls and packs parts according to customer and shop orders
• Packs parts for delivery using appropriate methods
• Verifies and inspects received shipments
• Places parts on shelves
• Fills emergency back orders and delivers to designated locations
• Moves parts and materials with a forklift
• Assists in assembling hoses
• Conducts core inspections as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Basic familiarity with light industrial equipment

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and move objects up to 94 pounds
• Standing, walking, talking, using hands, hearing, squatting/kneeling
• Ability to ascend/descend ladders, stairs, etc.
• Multi-tasking ability in a fast-paced environment
• Computer keyboard and screen navigation
• Fit for duty testing

Pay

The pay rate for the Warehouse Associate position ranges from $18.00 to $25.00 per hour, based on education and experience.

Schedule

Hours and schedules vary based on department needs and may include shifts during evenings and weekends.
