Warehouse Associate
About the role
The Warehouse Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient operations within Wagner Equipment Co., focusing on processes such as handling customer and shop credits, performing housekeeping tasks, and collaborating with team members to meet warehouse and parts goals.
Responsibilities
- Processes customer and shop credits
- Performs various housekeeping tasks to maintain cleanliness and safety
- Checks orders for accuracy
- Works cooperatively with fellow team members to achieve warehouse/parts objectives
- Fulfills safety rules and regulations
- Calls to schedule pick-ups
- Interfaces effectively with internal and external customers
- Pulls parts according to customer and shop orders and delivers to packing area
- Packs parts according to identified delivery methods
- Prepares freight for delivery, securing to pallets, and completing shipping paperwork
- Receives shipments, verifying accuracy of parts and quantities
- Inventories parts by comparing system inventory with actual parts and quantities
- Places parts on shelves
- Fills emergency back orders and delivers to proper locations
- Moves parts and materials using a forklift
- Assembles hoses as a secondary function
- Conducts core inspections as assigned
- Performs other duties as directed by the manager
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Basic familiarity with light industrial equipment including saws, hoisting equipment, and hose presses
Qualifications
- Ability to stand, walk, talk, use hands, hear, squat, kneel, ascend/descend ladders/stairs, lift and move objects up to 94 pounds or more
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Basic familiarity with a computer keyboard and computer screens
- Navigation through menus and options

Pay
The pay rate for the Warehouse Associate position ranges from $18.00 to $25.00 per hour, based on education and experience.
Schedule
Hours and schedule details are provided upon employment and will vary based on department needs.
Additional Eligibility Requirements
- Motor vehicle license
- Physical ability to perform heavy work including lifting and moving objects up to 94 pounds or more
