Responsibilities
- Performs material handling plant wide
- Operates power-matic handling equipment
- Affords assistance to other operators
- Operates machines with minimal instruction
- Performs sundry duties as required and assigned
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Ability to work with a variety of warehouse/manufacturing tools
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proven organizational skills
- Able to prioritize and work independently
Requirements
- 5 years’ experience in a warehouse environment
- High school Diploma or equivalent
- Forklift Certification a plus
- Must have valid state driver’s license
- Experience working with a variety of warehouse tools
- Able to push, carry, lift and move materials up to 70 lbs
- Able to work while walking/standing for extended periods of time
- Able to work additional hours as needed to ensure responsibilities are met.
