Warehouse Associate
About the role
The Warehouse Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by processing orders efficiently. Total Safety, a leading provider of safety and compliance services, seeks a safety-conscious individual to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Prepares and expedites shipments
- Determines method and mode of shipment based on customer requirements
- Verifies product and counts match outbound shipment documentation
- Maintains the overall cleanliness of the warehouse and equipment
- Fulfills labeling requirements for each customer
- Operates material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Graduate or GED equivalent
- Operation of Forklift and Cherry Picker
- Ability to read and interpret documents
- Quality control for all outbound orders for accuracy
- Pass background and drug/alcohol test
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Clean and active driving record
- Time management to complete all regularly scheduled tasks on a timely basis
- Able to lift 50 lbs.

- Interpret packing slips
- Familiarity with various forms used by major freight carriers
- Knowledge of proper packaging methods and visual aids
- Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
